JUST LOOKING FOR SOME ANSWERS?

Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a collection of some of the most frequently asked questions during Daksha Workshops and Masterclass. Are you looking for just a quick clarification?
Read on, perhaps you will find it right here…
What is generative AI?

Generative AI is a type of technology that can create new things like sounds, computer programs, pictures, writings, simulations, and videos. Recent advancements have the potential to dramatically influence the way we create new information and content. The underlying AI models learn the patterns and similarities in the training data to create new data (images, videos, or text) with similar characteristics.

What is AI?

AI, or artificial intelligence, is the scientific progress of making machines (computers) think and to let them make decisions or perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. It’s smart enough to handle lots of information and can recognize patterns, make choices, and think in ways similar to humans. These include things like learning, reasoning, problem-solving, understanding natural language, and perception. AI can be categorized into two main types: narrow AI, which is designed for a specific task, and general AI, which would have the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across various domains like a human.

What does AI do?

AI helps machines understand what’s around them, think about it, and then do something useful. It takes in information (sometimes using its own ‘eyes’ like cameras) and then works out how to respond. This helps us to create programs that are much more flexible than previous computer programs. AI is quite versatile and can be applied to a variety of tasks across different domains, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Robotics, Automation, Computer Vision (with cameras), etc.

How is OpenAI different from generative AI?

Generative AI is all about creating new things. It’s great for saving time and being more creative, especially in marketing. OpenAI, on the other hand, is a company that is using a lot of generative AI. Many of their products are among the best generative AIs available.

Is GPT a type of generative AI?

Yes, GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformers) is a kind of advanced technology in AI. It falls under the category of natural language processing (NLP) models and is specifically designed for generating human-like text. The “generative” aspect of GPT refers to its ability to generate coherent and contextually relevant text based on the input it receives. It has been pre-trained on a vast amount of diverse text data, allowing it to understand and generate text in a wide range of styles and contexts. It’s what makes tools like ChatGPT possible, helping them to create new content.

How can I use AI in my business?

AI is not only for the big businesses anymore. You can easily start using it as a professional, or small business owner almost instantly. Here are four simple steps:

  • Look for the repetitive work that is being done manually and takes a long time. Such as filling out forms, processing documents, creating notes, etc.
  • Look for the AI tools to do some of this work in less time. There are several cool free and paid tools that you can try almost instantly.
  • Think of AI as a helper instead of expecting it to do whole thing. At least in the beginning. Do not start with automating 100%. Be realistic, start with a goal of automating 25% of the work, and keep adding more.
  • Use AI wisely and be honest about using it.

Can AI help market my business?

Yes! In marketing, AI can automatically find and talk to potential customers, create content, manage social media, and more. It saves money and time, improves customer experiences, and can increase profits.

How do I use an AI chatbots for my business?

To use chatbots, first, add a chat feature to your website and social media. Then, set up an AI chatbot in your chat. You can build these bots for your business using special chatbot creation tools.

Is it legal to copyright AI-created content?

No, in the United States and EU, you can’t copyright content if it’s made entirely by AI. AI is still in its infancy and the governments are still figuring out the legal side of it. Please check the local legislation to make sure you are using it honestly and responsibly.

What are some real-life AI risks?

AI risks include issues like Bias and Fairness, Protecting Personal Information, Unfair Programming, and unclear laws. While less immediate, there are also concerns about the long-term risks associated with highly autonomous AI systems, including the potential for unintended consequences, and unpredictable outcomes.

How does AI learn on its own?

AI improves itself by using a progressive learning algorithm to analyze data. It spots patterns and uses them to learn skills, much like how it can understand how to play games or suggest products online.

What's the difference between AI, machine learning, and deep learning?

AI is the general term for learning programs so that machines can do tasks and make decisions. Machine learning (ML) is a part of AI that learns from data. Deep learning (DL) is a more complex part of ML, using brain-like systems for tough tasks. AI doesn’t always need a lot of data; it can work on set rules too.

How secure is AI? Can it be hacked?

AI can be quite secure but not perfect. One big risk is backdoor attacks, where hackers secretly alter the AI to do harmful things or steal data.

What industries are most affected by AI?

AI already has had a big impact on industries like transportation, healthcare, marketing, finance, and entertainment. The influence of AI continues to grow across diverse industries as technology advances. The impact of AI is often characterized by increased efficiency, cost savings, improved decision-making, and the development of innovative products and services.

How does AI affect jobs and the workforce?

AI creates new jobs but also replaces some, especially in routine work. It’s expected to create more new jobs than it replaces by 2025. The World Economic Forum expects that, by 2025, AI will have displaced 75 million jobs globally, but will have created 133 million new jobs.

What are common misconceptions about AI?

A common misconception is that AI can constantly learn new information. However, current AI systems can only learn new information during the training period. When they are being used, they can only provide facts that they encountered during the training period.

Why is AI sometimes wrong?

AI can make mistakes, like not recognizing an object if it looks different than usual. It can also be tricked by small changes in the data it analyzes.

What is controversial about AI?

AI faces ethical issues like lack of transparency, risk of unfair or biased decisions, and concerns over privacy in data collection.

How do you ensure data privacy in AI?

To protect privacy, companies should monitor their AI systems closely, encrypt data, control who can access it, and minimize the amount of sensitive data used.

How do you ensure AI safety?

To keep AI safe, identify potential risks and consider what could go wrong. Build a detailed safety plan considering all possible threats.

Can AI be a threat to data privacy?

Yes, if AI systems hold data for too long, there’s a higher risk of unauthorized access or misuse. It’s important to have good data retention policies.

What is the safety risk of AI?

AI risks include issues like protecting personal information, unfair programming, harm to people, and unclear laws.

What does AI do with your data?

AI uses data to perform tasks and understand customer needs. This can come from data you provide or from data collected without you realizing, like facial recognition.

Tales, Trends, Twists, and Talks

Automation means using technology to reduce human involvement in processes. It's like setting rules for machines to make decisions, handle tasks, and follow those rules automatically.

Latest AI solutions built around Generative AI can find answers from your internal data sources and assist in crafting new content, checklists, white papers, and various documents using a straightforward text command (Prompt). While it may not replicate the finesse of a professional content writer just yet, it's getting their every day.

Keeping pace with the swift, diverse developments in AI is often a challenge even for experts. Yet, every autumn, there's an easy answer to this question: the 'State of AI' report.

Generative AI excels in tasks like summaries, question answers, and content creation. However, the real challenge lies in the nuances. AI's intelligence hinges on the quality of the sources it interacts with. Daksha GPT solves this problem by letting organizations connect their existing data sources to AI, enabling users to create content, ask questions, and talk to this data. A critical piece of the puzzle is the ability to use speech as a source.

Each element, from the core idea to execution details, must work together seamlessly to make the wheel—your product—function optimally. Disregarding the balance among these crucial components can lead to missed opportunities and, ultimately, the untimely demise of an otherwise promising endeavor.

The story goes beyond this client’s unique journey; it underscores a crucial lesson often overlooked in AI integration—the significance of the people using it. In the swiftly evolving AI landscape, the tale encourages teams to consider exploring this transformative technology sooner rather than later for sustained relevance.

We are living in one of the most exciting times as we witness this monumental shift in the way we do our day-to-day work. This isn't just another trend; it is the future unfolding before our eyes for startups as well as established businesses. The marketing and the way marketing (and everything else) is done will never be same again.

Until a few years ago, the Mobile-First business was a relatively new concept. Now, that already looks like a thing of the past. Most small businesses these days start as WhatsApp-first or Instagram-first.

How do you separate what you want to do, and what you should do to protect your app idea? How do you know what the cautious approach even means in this situation?

You have been thinking about this for months. You’ve talked to your people, and you know this App is going to change the world.
